Spotlight
Entertainment was established in 1996 by owner Rick Riley.
Rick is a Kentucky native (Owensboro), West Point graduate and ex Army
Captain. Originally it was a one man operation focused on
Karaoke. On January 1, 1999, Spotlight suffered a major
setback when The Depot Bar burned along with all of Spotlight’s
equipment. It was a blessing in disguise. Since then
Spotlight Entertainment has grown to include eight complete DJ rigs
with state of the art equipment and an untouchable music
selection. Spotlight’s music library (over 70,000 songs) is
based on Billboard Top 100 from 1949 to today (if it’s been on the
charts we have it!). Spotlight’s karaoke library contains
over 70,000 selections with top name producers such as Sound Choice,
Star Disk, Chartbusters, and Pop Hits Monthly. Spotlight’s
video library contains over 10,000 songs from 1960 to today.
Spotlight now conducts 10-15 shows, both DJ / VJ & Karaoke, per
week in venues throughout Kentucky.
